Functionally good. Aesthetically average.

Pros:	Adds gripping point and leverage for thumb. Thin.
Cons:	Not quite grippy enough. Pattern is not that attractive.

The main gripe with the Nexus is that it is a bit slippery and doesnt find a natural sitting place in one hand without risking accidental page-turns or other swipes. I This provides an edge for the thumb and a small-but-useful bit of extra gripping area without making the device much bigger.

It is not, however, much sticker than the device surface itself, so you cant just use an open palm, as I had hoped. And the design of the molding is okay but not an improvement over the simple Nexus back cover, and it doesnt seem to complement the units original pattern.
