I was one of the very first 3G customers and this was the only decent hard case available at T-Mobile at the time. It is overly think, which you might think adds protection except when I dropped my phone this case popped apart on impact. True.. it absorbed the bulk of the impact by doing that but my phone still could have been scratched on the subsequent bounces.

I took to keeping my 3G in the front pocket of my jeans and this case has so much grip its nearly impossible to pull out the phone without inside-outing the pocket lining. Im getting ready to upgrade to a Seidio Innocase Surface, or maybe the Nexus One, this 3G being so annoyingly slow.
