Droid 2 Case Review: Body Glove Snap-On Case
Reviewed by Jared DiPane
When looking for a case for my Motorola Droid 2, the Body Glove Snap-On Case immediately caught my eye as one of the top contenders. Cases are generally one of the accessories that I am most hesitant to purchase due to my compulsive personality and I tend to overanalyze the design, protection, bulk and comfort. Body Glove is a trusted brand that provides a lot of protection and generally tries to keep the bulk of the case to a minimum so I decided to give it a shot.

Overall the protection that was acquired from this case was far more important then the slight amount of bulk that was added. The case was very form fit and held close to the device so there was no real fear of the case falling off, or shaking loose from the device.

Android Accessory Review: Body Glove Case for the Motorola Droid 2
Reviewed by Jared DiPane
Like many of you out there I have a love/hate relationship with cases on my device, I love the protection, but often times hate the feel. With a recent change of career I found myself looking for a nice rugged case that I could use with a belt clip, or without if I wanted, and while this may seem like a lot to look for in a case, I was able to find it all with the Body Glove Case for the Motorola Droid 2.

Overall, if you are looking for a case that will give you some serious protection for your device, you need to be OK with adding some bulk to the device. The Body Glove case has a great rubberized feel, which allows for it to be held comfortably in the hand, and while it does add bulk it is not a huge amount. The ability to use the case with or without the belt clip without being forced to have the knob on the back is a huge plus for me, as I do not always use the clip and don't want that protruding from the back.

Star Star Star Star Star Hard - Not Ducticle
User: Jack Peterson, Jan 24, 2012
Pros: Good impact resistance
Cons: Terrible to remove without breaking
I loved having this cover - until I had to remove the battery pack. then it became a struggle to remove it, and when I did one of the small locking tabs snapped off. This was not a problem until the next time it happened. I have to give it 1 star because for the $30 it cost new (when I bought the phone) it did not last even 6 months.
Star Star Star Star Star Damaged my phone
User: Android Central Customer, Jul 11, 2011
Pros: Low profile, not too bulky, feels sturdy on phone
Cons: See below.
Having this case on my Droid 2 caused the two halves of the phone to pull apart ever so slightly. Not a big deal but when i took the cover off to go back to not using it, the two sides "click" together when you squeeze/grasp the phone, indicating more space between the halves than when it was new. Now, the sliding aspect is looser and the phone does not stay open or closed as well as it did when new. Wish I never used this case.
Star Star Star Star Star Broke day after purchase
User: Andre Edwards, Dec 14, 2010
Pros: Good feel
Cons: Poor durability.
I purchased the case when I got my droid 2, installed it before I left the store. The next day I removed the top portion of the case to install my screen cover, and one of the clips snapped, making it useless. The lady at the verizon retailer said she had the same issue and gave me another case made by a different brand for free.
