I got this case mainly because I wanted something like the Speck Candyshell. I like the hard outside and the rubber inside combo which absorbs shocks and can take a beating. It covers all the sides of the phone well and has a nice lip to protect the screen when you lay it face down on the table. The only thing that I do not like about the case is that the USB cable that came with the phone does not fit in the cut out of the case. The charger that I used for my Blackberry fits a bit snug. The cable that came with the Nexus does not fit into it at all. Other then the cable not fitting, it is nice solid case that fits the phone snug so I know it will not pop off if I drop it. |

Not misleading at all | ||||

The listing is not misleading at all. The three contacts cannot be used if the phone is in a case, so there is no need for access. As for the case, its great. But I do find the buttons to be way too sensitive in the case, which is annoying. |

I picked up this case and love it. Having one on an Ipad, these cases are durable as anything. The nice blend of smoothness and grippy texture make it a great case for your pockets, etc. Using it on the Verizon version of the Nexus, it fits over the extended battery without the need to remove the cover or have it press against the cover. I do see if you have a screen protector that putting this on will be a tight fit and may cause your screen protector to bubble up. Also, the case itself due to nexus changes during production does not have a cutout in the upper right hand corner for the second mic on the back nor does it have a wide enough usb charging port. Some car chargers work, but older ones dont. HTC and Samsung cables work as well. Case-mate is aware of the issue and is redesigning the case and it should be out the end of January. Does it add bulk? YES! Does it add a lot? Nope unless you want it to be like their barely there case. Definitely worth it for the money. |

The Case-Mate POP! case was the first case I purchased for my Galaxy Nexus. Unfortunately, after less than a day of use, it became clear that this wasnt going to be my daily driver. First, I do feel that the phone itself was very safe in this case. It added a considerable amount of bulk to the phone, but thats the price you pay for protection from an accidental drop. It wasnt particularly difficult to put on or remove, and fit securely around the phone. The down side of the secure fit is that it pressed directly against the edges of the screen protector I had put on the phone from the beginning. After an hour of use, large bubbles formed along the edge where the case met the screen. Within two hours, the screen protector started to peel away from the side. It was clear that the case would not work with a screen protector at all - the lip of the inner portion of the case pressed too close to the phone. A second issue came up later that night: when I attempted to charge the phone using the cable that came with the phone, it would not fit the charging port. Granted, I probably could have found a micro USB cable that it wouldve fit the access port. But it was another issue that I felt made this case the wrong choice for me. These may not be dealbreakers for everyone, mind you, but they were for me. |

| The listing says "Access to all ports and functions" but it covers the 3-pin connection on the side of the phone. | |||||
