Pros:	universal, small, lasts
Cons:	Doesnt work with Samsung Galaxy Nexus pogo pins pulls the back off

I used a clingo a great deal for two years and it was fine. I kept it clean, protected it with plastic between trips, and it worked even in the heat. It can be used with anything, not just a phone. However, I now have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which expects to sense its in a cradle (with pogo pins) in order to take a full 1 amp charge, not just 700mA. Also, the SGN has a lightweight backplate and I kept pulling that off the phone when I attached it to the clingo. I now use the clingo for other things.

Good holder, sometimes too strong!

Pros:	secures phone well
Cons:	sometimes sticks too well.. pulls back of phone off

I have been using one of these for a few month in my car (windshield mount) initially with a Samsung Fascinate phone and now with the Galaxy Nexus. It sticks really well. Mount is secure unless going over very bumpy roads, then the phone droops a bit (but never falls). This is the best generic mount I have ever found!

Great IDEA, poor execution

Pros:	Works with virtually any phone. Has a nice stable base
Cons:	Loses stickiness

Ive had this for approximately 6 months. During that time, the original faceplate stopped working (lost all stickiness). I took care of it exactly as Clingo requires and specifies. I contacted Clingo and explained the problem. They promptly sent me a replacement mount. After two months, that one is virtually "stickless". Not going to bother with acquiring another replacement pad, instead I got a completely different pedistal. Great concept, very poor execution.

Cons:	Slimes your phone over time

This was a great purchase when I bought one for my car months ago. Now its just a slimy mess. I cant even use it anymore. washed it numerous times. IT leaves residue all over whatever you stick to it. And it wont stick to a phone case well enough to hold it in place.
