| I have been through Bose headphones to cheap JVC without a mic (which were the best one to date) But HTC which were made for HTC Products actually are really the best. I dare say better than my Bose. | |||||

| I was looking for a headphone that had a remote on it so I can easily change songs without pulling the phone out of my pocket. The remote worked well. My 2 complaints were that the earbuds were a very tight fit going into my ear..and I wouldnt consider my ears small. The cord is very long and the mic/remote setup is lower on the cord where it should be because you can to clip the mic to your collar but you have so much extra wire dangling in your face since it sits so low on the cord. I stopped using them after the first day. | |||||

Stock HTC G2 Touch Headset (with Mic) | ||||

Ive owned my HTC G2 Touch (Hero) for over 6 months now and I use the stock stereo earphones with build in mic on a daily basis. Not really for the sound quality because I find this to be mediocre. The bass is severely lacking, even when pushing them right into the ears. The mid range is clean and crisp but the highs can be quite tinny and ear-piercing at volume especially when taking a call, swapping from music to a phone call. The fit is poor but I have to admit I havent tried to the foam but Im sceptical that this would make much of a difference to sound quality or fit. The reason I still use them is that A.) I cant afford to buy better ones and B.) I find the hands free-ness useful for taking calls and people seem to be able to hear me fine, even when the microphone is under my jumper (as I tuck the wire under the top layer of clothing to avoid snagging the wire when moving about.) Overall, ok quality, poor bass, poor fit, useful for taking calls, useful controls for skipping music in the android music playing and with last.fm app. |

These headhphones came with my HTC Desire. Audio is ok, and the buttons work (which is rare on android), but they are the most uncomfortable headphones Ive ever used. The buds are oversized and covered in cheap foam, and the large stick like "backs" are clumsy. HTC make great phones, but in this case really terrible headphones, I had to borrow my partners iPhone headset (the buttons dont all work). |
