Not universal enough for Droid X

Pros:	Attachment is firm, product is nicely produced.
Cons:	Doesnt really fit.

I have used a similar product that was created for my Treo 700p and it has worked perfectly for several years. There isnt a product created specifically for the Droid X, however, and this Universal Phone Holder doesnt work so well. The side bars are placed in a way that they directly block the mini USB jack so that I cannot charge my phone while it is mounted. If it were truly universal, there would be a vertical adjustment, which would allow me to place the side bars in a more useful location. Also, like many people, I keep my Droid X in a rubber case (verizon shell/holster is what I use). The side bars are adjustable, but they wont spread wide enough to accommodate the Droid X, along with the rubber case. The side bars come with a rubber cushion on either side. Once I removed the cushions, I can now squeeze the phone into place, and I added some electrical tape to hold the phone.. Not an ideal solution at all, however it is working out okay, given the limitations.
