This is a really expensive "stand" for your One X or EVO 4G LTE. It comes with a permanently attached USB cable along with an AC adapter. I think this is because you can use it to sync data to the computer, but it appears you need the A/C adapter plugged in to charge it. Even at that, I found the charging to be inconsistent. Its so important for a phone with a fixed battery to charge properly. One night I had the phone on the charger with it appearing like everything working. I put it on the dock at 35 charge and awoke in the morning to find the charge at 21. There is no signal sent to the phone via the magnetic sensors that it is in a dock, so any OEM home dock program does not launch. As others have mentioned, the connector is very snug to the back of the stand, so using it with a phone that has any kind of case that is more than a couple millimeters thick will prevent it from working. The standard TPU case (the snug clear silicone ones with the transparent argyle patters) do work, just barely. The build of this is the worst of the Chinese mass-produced variety. Plain white box, no instructions, rough edges. Its the kind of thing youd expect to get on an auction site shipped directly for China for a couple bucks. I regret this purchase. |

| I got the cradle in the mail yesterday. When I opened it I noticed the space between the charger and the back was really thin. I tried to plug in my phone with the case on and it would not fit. Its pretty uncommon for people not to have a case on their phone, and it is really inconvenient to have to take the case off when you want to charge the phone. | |||||
