The OtterBox Commuter Series Case for the Droid Incredible is truly a tank of a case. It wraps your precious DInc in two protective layers: a hard outer shell and a soft, shock absorbing inner layer.

Overall, this is a case for anyone paranoid about dropping their phone on those with large hands. I tend to go for the thinner cases that mostly protect against scratches and the like, so your mileage may vary. That being said, the case itself was built very solidly and gave me confidence that my precious DInc would survive a moderate fall to the floor unscathed.

Pros:	Rugged feel, USB/earphone ports are covered and phone is protected
Cons:	Outer shell feels slick to the touch

Just bought an Otterbox Commuter Series case for my Droid Incredible, and all I can say is WOW! The phone feels secure inside the 2-piece case, and it protects the camera lens however, the hard outer shell has a slick finish to it, which could possibly make the phone harder to hold on to. Other than that, great case, great value!

Pros:	Rock solid quality build.

Love the crystal clear screen protector it came with. Not worried about little scratches anymore. Easy to get on and off when I clean the dust off, which the rubber case tends to trap on the sides, but what case wouldnt. Easy access to all ports and overall just a tank for a great phone.

I had an Otterbox Defender case for a previous phone and it was awesome. This Commuter Series case is even better. It is not a gigantic as the Defender series. So it fits in my pocket well. It is easy to take on and off, which I do a lot because I have 2 batteries. The camera is well protected since the camera eye is recessed into the case. The volume and microphone work just as good in the case as they did without it. I try not to drop my phone, but I think this case would protect it in the event of a fall. The screen protector covers the whole screen, not just part of it like the protector that I got from Verizon. It is made in china, but designed in Colorado. Go buy one!

Okay, maybe not but I am very impressed with the quality of this case. Otterbox took their time releasing it but the wait was worth it. I opted for this case over the Defender because I was worried about bulk. This case adds just enough bulk to ease my fears over dropping it. The plug covers fit snugly and keep dust out. If you are worried about scratching your camera, you can set it down without fear. The screen protector was easy to install and is crystal clear. The case sticks out enough to allow you to sit the phone face down without worry as well. I have no troubles typing on the phone. I have tried the stock keyboard, Swype, ShapeWriter, and SwiftKey. All work great. The only negatives I have are I occasionally find lint on the soft parts of my case and also the case doesnt have much grip to it. Not sure if I will end up dropping the phone more often because of it or not. But, if I do, I am confident that my phone will be protected. And, if it does break, I cant think of a case in the world (save possibly the Defender series) that would have protected it anyway. As long as they keep making cases for the phones I buy, I will be an Otterbox customer for life.
