Awesome Otter |

| Otter box is an awesome case, it fits well and really protects the phone. I dropped my phone onto a tile floor and thought it was wrecked, but the Otter Box saved it. Im sure its already paid for itself. | |

| Had this protector for about a month when the top half fell off. I noticed the corner was cracked through. Phone never has been dropped or mishandled. I am extremely careful and easy on my cellphone, so I have no idea how the protective case ever developed a crack. I do like the rubber gasket which covers all the side buttons and jacks. | |

| Unlike the Body Glove I had on my Droid that drowned, the bottom case clings like a steel trap, although I can still remove it fairly easily to access the battery cover. The Body Glove tabs would allow my Droid to pop out while clipped onto my belt or when it hit the ground. I like that it protects the holes into the phone while not in use, though it can be difficult at times to negotiate the flap when trying to connect the USB/charging cable. Buttons all work well as protected. All these coverings are also a plus to the Body Glove case I had on the Droid model. My top or screen edge part of the case had no tabs along one edge, so it pops off very easily when minimal pressure is applied across the front edge along that side, like when sliding open the keypad if Im not careful and apply any upward pressure whatsoever. The one and only time so far it hit the floor, the top piece came off and the bottom stayed on. I do miss the belt clip/stand of the Body Glove, but like the better protection. | |||||

This is my second Otter Box case and both have been terrible. They do not stay on very well at all. I have only dropped my phone from 6 to 8 inches and the case just falls off. Waste of money. Dont buy. When will someone make a decent protective case for these phones? Seems the Droid X got the Otter Box Defender. I would like to see that for the Droid 2 |
