HTC Droid Incredible Case Review: Otterbox Defender

The OtterBox Defender is one of the toughest cases you can buy for your precious Droid Incredible. The case comes in four separate parts, two of which snap together to directly encase the phone. This is made of hard plastic and the front-facing one has a thin, clear plastic screen that covers the entire face of the phone.

The overall build quality was top notch and what you would expect from someone like OtterBox. The device feels great in the hand if you are used to large cases and the buttons didn't require too much effort to press. The one big issue I had was that the clear screen has a very small opening for the optical joystick and was very uncomfortable to use. Anyone that uses that optical joystick on a regular basis may want to look for something with an open face. That being said, the OtterBox Defender is overall a great case for anyone looking for maximum protection for their DInc.

O-Box Droid Incredible

I got the Incredible(AMOLED Version) just the other day. I absolutely love the phone and did not want to damage it. I had always heard about OtterBox but, never wanted to spring for one. It turned out to be the best investment in phone care I ever made. Their cases are fantastic and are hands down the most durable and long lasting. If you own and expensive phone I would recommend OtterBox to everyone. A good smartphone is an investment protect it people. This store also has the best prices for these cases I have found yet, just thought I would throw in a plug for yall.

Great protection but wimpy clips

I have had two of these cases now and depite the fact it really portects the phone it has two serious flaws in my opinion.

its a dust magnet. I find myself constantly taking it apprat to clean lint and dust from behind the screen. I have an otter box for blackberry and I have never had to do this.

The clips on the side of the case keep breaking off whiule its in the holster causing the phone to come out and fall to the floor which is here the case does the job but unless you notice when it falls you could lose your phone.

I would have say dont waste the extra cash on this case.

Bulky & Dirt Magnet

Cons:	The optical stick allows dirt to enter behind the screen

The case design is very well thought out and it does make the DInc feel very safe and secure. The bulkiness is to be expected from such a safe case.

The really MAJOR drawback that I found was the hole for the optical controller allowed for dust and debris to end up behind the screen. This ment I had to clean out the case AT LEAST once every two days.

If not for the Major drawback the case would be awesome but its enough of a negative to make me not recommend the case.
