| Bought the Commuter case for myself. (By the way some of the photos shown here are the Commuter, NOT Defender) It works great. Bought the Defender for my wifes SIII, and it works just as well. Even better protection with the screeen cover. All in all, Otter Box cases are the best if you want the looks AND protection. | |

| I had a OB Defender for my GS II E4GT til it fell on the back and cracked the screen.I called Otterbox and told them what happened and 15 days later when I switched carriers and got the GS III they sent me a new Defender case for my new phone and LOVING IT!!!Aawesome case for a equally bada$$ awesome phone!!! | |||||

| bout this about a month ago because I felt like the SIII was going to hit the deck a few times as sleek and light weight as it is. I love it but I couldnt risk killing my phone. In the last week I have literally dropped my phone 3 times. regardless of my issue of clumsiness I wanted to tell everyone this case is awesome!! no dent, ding, crack nothing.. and we are talking hit the concrete 2 times and the tile floor in my office once. | |||||

I have had the case for a few weeks and it does a great job protecting the phone. Installation is very easy, a 2 piece plastic enclosure surrounded by thick rubber. It is a heavy duty case so it will make your phone bulky, but pocketable. The case provides a very good lip around the screen and lifts it away from surfaces when placed face down. However be careful when doing so, the plastic case makes contact with the ground or table, rather than the rubber. So the case does have a tendency to slide around when placed faced down, take note when placing the phone on a inclined surface, or not to accidentally knock it from a table. My only gripe is the built-in screen protector. It does a pretty good at protecting the screen, but it ruins the clarity of the GSIII great screen. |
