Star Star Star Star Star OEM is worth the extra cost
User: Anthony F, May 26, 2014
Pros: It lasts all day
Cons: none
I bought this as an extra spare battery to use later in the day if the installed battery gets too low. Actually these batteries work so well I havent needed to do the switch. They are much better than the experience I had with the Galaxy SIII batteries. Compatible non-original Samsung batteries have never worked as well as the OEM. If the battery has Asian writing on it, I wouldnt buy it, regardless of the description.
Star Star Star Star Star Authentic
User: yobran c, May 6, 2014
I usually buy most accessories from Amazon but run into issues with the product not truly being authentic. You do not have those issues with ShopAndroid. I also purchased an authentic Samsung USB 3. charger. No complaints. Products are reasonably priced here as well.

I will only be buying from this store for my S5 products
Star Star Star Star Star Possible Bad Battery
User: C M, Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Possible official battery/Fast shipping
Cons: Caused random phone reboots
Battery arrived quickly from order (ordered wed/received fri) and had about 60charge on it out of the box. Looked and felt like an official Samsung battery.

My factory original battery got me down into the teens by the end of the day, this one had me in the upper 20s so battery life was better.

About a week in my phone started to randomly reboot on occasion and one night went into a reboot loop cycle that only reloading the firmware via Odin fixed it. No new software on the phone. no new settings, no new accessories other then the battery. Next day the phone did it again and I did another reload of the firmware. This time I noticed the phone was warmer then usual so I pulled my case (same case for almost 2 years) and also switched back to the old battery. 3 days - no issues. Reinstalled my case and now 2 weeks later and still no issues. New battery is now sitting on the shelf unused.

Overall not sure if its a Samsung QA thing, maybe knockoff battery, or what. I got it here on sale for $17 so not much lost. At this point im going to ride out the remaining 6 months on my contract with my factory battery and find a new phone then.
