I bought this for my Droid RAZR so it would stop sliding around on my desk while I tried to swype out texts. Well, it doesnt really help with that, because there is no grippy material on the back, and the plastic exoskeleton still lets the phone slide around. However, it does feel nice in the hand and has helped me not drop my phone a few times when I probably would have dropped it without the case. It adds thickness to the RAZR (duh, I know), but you can still sort of see the phones shape on the back. However, the silicone on the sides makes it stick in my pocket to the point that I nearly have to rip my pocket lining out to get it out when a call comes in. It also let some kind of grain of sand or dirt or something in under the silicone case and scratched up the aluminum "Motorola" nameplate over the speaker, but you can blink at that thing and scratch it.
Overall, it is a good case as far as two-part cases go (rigid but soft), but I end up taking it off more than I use it, just so I can get the RAZR easily out of my pocket. If they moved the rubber material from the sides to the back somehow to make it go in and out of the pocket easier and not slide on desk tops, I would use this case all the time.
