| I bought one of these with the case as I have a 2 year old that likes to play with dads phone then throw it across the room when he gets bored with it. When I bought this I never imagined 3 months later Id be in a motor cycle accident and have my cell phone protect my hip from road rash. This case and holster survived sliding on concrete wedged between a 200 lb man going 30 mph. The case is ground down a bit but the phone never left the holster and it kept the concrete from shredding my dockers and bitting into my skin. It was amazing and the case and holster still work now sporting battle scars. Most importantly the phone didnt have a scratch on it, looks as new as the day I bought it. | |||||

Amazing Extended Battery case for EVO!!! | ||||

| I got a Seido 3500 Extended Battery for my EVO and at the same time, purchased this extended battery rugged case. Its actually three cases in one. The added bulk is a good thing for me as I have big hands and with this case, the phone fits in my hand quite well. Its totally protected and with the included holster, fits and works quite well. If you get the Seido 3500 extended battery, you need this case. Its worth every penny | |||||

A High Level Protection Case with Three Different Levels of Protection |

This is an amazing case, literally three cases in one. Level one – very light external case, a standard sleeve, for general walking about use Level Two – Rubberized coating that goes over the sleeve and covers all the controls. But don’t worry the controls are very usable, perfect for protection when throwing your phone in a bag or backpack. Level Three – an Exoskeleton that goes over the first two layers. This provides an outstanding protection when exposed to elements, possible collisions with other objects, or the need for highest protection (my average day.) This level of protection, combine with the Face in Design of the carriage provides the best possible protection. When using the full protection, all three layers, this case is designed for protection, and not access to the battery (thus I have the extended battery), or the memory card. This configuration is not a light weight case, and is designed to protect your phone. Only two drawbacks to this case It does not have the camera port cover like its little brother, the regular Innocase Rugged Holster Combo Case. This port cover is very nice, particularly when moving about in rough and dirty areas. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I really think this is a design flaw for such a high level of protection. The only other drawback is a missed design opportunity. I would have added a kickstand to the exoskeleton. Overall - I believe this is an outstanding case, while it is not waterproof it provides a selection of how much protection you want. When all three layers are put together, it is absolutely the best armor for your EVO. |

A bit on the clunky side |

| This case is well made and certainly does a good job of protecting the EVO. Disassembly to access the battery or sd card is a real chore. I would have rated this combo higher except the holster is forever catching on something. The latch on the holster was quite secure when new, but now, after a few weeks it easily releases if I brush up against something. As a result, the EVO has come off and hit the floor several times. I fear it may happen sometime when I am not aware and I will lose the phone. | |
