Evo 4G accessory review: Seidio Innotraveler car kit

We all love using Google Maps' turn-by-turn navigation on our Android phones, but it's so much better with the right car dock. Enter the Seidio Innotraveler car kit for the Evo 4G. The dock is easy to use, infinitely adjustable, and is designed to work with two of Seidio's other very popular accessories -- the Seidio Innocase II, and the 3500 mAh extended battery.

Plain and simple -- this thing rocks. Having my Evo handy while tooling around, playing music or using Google Navigation sure beats having it laying in the ashtray on on the passenger seat. It's built tough, works with my existing case (huge plus and a darn good idea Seidio) and even can power a bluetooth speaker. I'd recommend this (and have) to anyone...

Great value and workmanship

Pros:	Evo fits snug no movement while phone is seated. Suction cup on mounting bracket is very secure when installed. Value. Overall workmanship.

I have been using this car kit for several days now. I do not have a case on my Evo (only an invisible shield). When seated into the mount the phone fits snug with no play or wiggle room. Ive purposefully driven with the holder (open part of the phone holder facing down) and the phone did not fall out.

The workmanship is very good and all of the parts feel very well made and sturdy. The finish on the holder is of the same soft textured material that Seidio uses for their cases. The moving parts of the mount and swivel are tight and took a little force to adjust them the first time especially the length adjustment.

If you find yourself struggling to keep your Evo secure while you are driving or are looking to fully utilize it in your vehicle, this is the perfect solution.

Pros:	Fits the EVO perfectly for your stock battery and your extended battery
Cons:	Says it fits most cases but its a pain to use with one

This is all you need for a car dock for the EVO. Love the fact that you can still use the video camera eventhough its in the dock. This is a firm fit and it does not move. Nice that they give you a DC out, but it would be nice if they included the Mini USB adaptor with it.

Great adapter, needs a little drilling for perfection!

Pros:	easy install, super strong suction cup
Cons:	no pre-drilled hole for mic

I wont rehash what others say, its an awesome car dock, a little bulky though. Use a small drill bit to create a hole in the front for the mic noise to pass through. Not sure why Seidio left this out, they have holes for the mic on the inside, just nothing that connects to the outside.

Pros:	Good fit and suction system
Cons:	the inner liner melted in the heat.

Luckily my phone wasnt in the dick when it happened. The entire inner liner just deformed.

plug on inside of charger is very cheap, use it a few times and it will stop charging your phone, the phone still goes into car mode just wont charge anymore, other than that it is great
