Definately better than the otterbox however the sides and back dont have the rubberized coating like the front which is backwards if you ask me. This makes it slippery and hard to grip. those prismatic dots on the screen are very noticable and not neccessary as no other cover has them. with that being said it is a tough case and i would recommend over others i have tried GO GATORS

I have been excited about this case coming out! I have bought many Seidio accessories for my HTC EVO in the past that were great. When I saw ShopAndroid had it on sale and a 60 day money back guarantee I was sold. Seidio only offers a 14 day return policy, if product is defective though they do offer a year warranty. When I opened the package I was presented with an Addendum to the Manual. It stated that if you saw little dots on your screen those were for greater touch sensitivity and to prevent "water marks", when the protector sticks to the screen. Well if you have a dark background you hardly notice the dots, theres about 20-25 dots on protector (maybe more, I dont remember). But if you had a lighter background on a wallpaper, game, app, etc. the dots would act like small prisms. It looked as if you had glitter on your screen, really distracting. Especially while watching a movie. I thought I would get used to it, but I couldnt get past the dots. I was quite disappointed. I did email Seidio and asked if this was an early iteration of the product or if they were going to this design. I was told they were going to send my email to the technical department and they just reiterated the same Addendum to the Manual that came with the product. So, not much insight, or questions answered. I saw this case licensed under PT cases and sold at Best Buy, when opened the package it said Seidio, and when I looked at that one in the store it had no dots on the screen protector.
The case added some bulk to the phone, and I realized it would, but the plastic material on back and sides of the case made the phone a little slippery when holding. It did help with putting in pocket etc. I do know there needs to be a compromise when designing these products. When I did the water test before putting the phone in the case (which is required and highly recommended) it worked perfectly. If you can get past the screen protector and dont mind the materials used, it would seems like a good waterproof, dust proof case. Just didnt work for me.
