Carrying around the Motorola Droid X in a holster is no small matter. Literally. The phone has a 4.3-inch screen. But the Seidio Spring-Clip Holster makes short work of it.

There's a belt clip on the back of the holster. Its spring is pretty tight, too, so no worries about it falling off your hip. The belt clip can be rotated, too, for a custom fit. It's not removable (hey, it's a holster), but neither does it stick too far off your body.

Very nice holster!

Pros:	Good quality, nice feel, easy to use
Cons:	Top clip digs into your side a little

For those of us who like to go naked with our phone (so it works with other accessories like the dock, or simply because it feels better in the hand), this spring clip holster from Seidio is very nice. Its way better than the similar Verizon one, which frankly, sucks!

I was pleasantly surprised by this holster when I first opened it. The holster is made from a very nice soft touch plastic and has a quality feel.

Unlike the Verizon one there is no chance with the Seidio holster that the Droid Xs buttons will be pushed while in the holster as there is a pair of small ridges that hold the face of the phone slightly away from the holster.

The spring clip on top which holds the phone in the holster is easy to use and does not scratch the phone as I feared it might. It has a rubber piece where it presses on the phone. The only caveat with the spring clip is that it is squared off and can dig into your side a little.

The rotating clip on the back seems sturdy but only time will tell. If it does break there will be no protection for the top corners of the phone as they are exposed.

You can put the phone in with the screen facing in or out. I dont recommned the latter however!

4 stars because the top clip digs my side a little.

I originally bought the Verizon branded spring clip holster and I must say that it was terrible. I returned it the next day because the holster was holding down the home button and not letting the DX sleep. I looked for a while and the only other holster that I could find was this one. After a little reluctance I purchased and I must say that I do not regret it at all. The spring clip at the top does NOT hit the standby button when putting the DX in or removing it which is something that I was worried about. Also the way that the DX sits in the holster it does not allow for the hard buttons to be pressed and not allow the phone to sleep. I checked this using the Spare Parts app. The phone is sleeping just perfectly. It is very good quality and it is very secure as well! The only other thing that I was worried from the pictures before I purchased was that it looked like the spring clip on the top was making contact with the camera lense. I can also report that this is not the case. It just looks like that from the pictures. The point where the spring clip touches the camera lense is at the very top edge. There is a small piece of rubber on the inside of the spring clip and this is what contacts the DX so there is not any way that it could scratch the lense over the camera. The DX is easily removable and snaps right back into place when ready. The only con was that the green LED for the notifications is kind of difficult to see when it is in the holster because it pretty much covers it up. Other than that I dont see any cons with this case. I dont believe that anyone would be dissapointed with this case.
