This cover finally came back in stock, and I jumped on it ASAP. While the product works exactly as advertised, wireless charging is still a novelty and only useful enough to charge overnight. This isnt something which you can use during the day to quickly charge your phone for the night. That will still need a wired connection.

I immediately put this on my phone when I received it. First things first, you will notice it adds significant heft to the phone. Youre replacing a thin, cheap piece of plastic with a heavy duty cover with a coil in it. You will feel it.

It also makes the device much more thick. The entire cover was made with the coil in mind, so there isnt a bulge, but rather a smooth curved back. The cover is so think the camera lens is now recessed rather than sticking out. It works well for the look of the device, but if you havent been using a cover, it changes how it fits in your hand.

Speaking of covers, the phone barely fits in my TPU case. I didnt expect it, but a nice find.

Overall, Im happy with the product, but its not what I made it out to be in my head. A cool trick, but nothing game changing for me.

I gave this charging battery cover to my nephew as a gift. He has an S3. I also got him the Nokia wireless standing charger. I was pretty sure this product used the Qi standard so I had my fingers crossed it would work with the Nokia charger. It does in fact work, but only when the phone is placed upside down on the charger. My HTC Droid DNA works on the Nokia also but it works right side up. Im not sure if the problem is with the battery cover or the S3, I suspect its the cover. In any case, I think 4 stars is a fair review since it does actually charge wirelessly. Its also a nice design and fits perfectly and my nephew actually prefers the way the phone feels in his hand now.
